Ramla Museum and War Memorial

In a historical building used by the municipality in the days of the British Mandate, the Ramla Museum records and presents the city’s founding from the 8th century AD until today.  In addition to exhibits presenting everyday life, trade , art, and ethnic multi cultural fabric of the local populace, there are also exhibits from the history of the 1948 war of liberation, as well as a collection of art created by the city’s artists.

In the gardens of the museum is Yad LaBanim -  a memorial room to perpetuate the fallen soldiers of Ramla, which includes photo albums of the fallen.   The adjacent courtyard also holds a monument in their memory.

Opening Hours:  Sunday-Thursday 10:00-16:00 Fridays and Holiday Eves 10:00-13:00
